I am a Quebec-born 3D artist and technical animator, with a lifelong passion for creating games - both on the tabletop and in digital media.
Though my current focus is on character rigging and technical animation, I have had significant experience in 3D modeling, rigging and design - mostly with 3dsMAX but also with Maya - and have some familiarity with MotionBuilder, as well.
I also have a solid foundation in basic programming, with C++, C#, MaxScript and Python.
Since 2013, I have worked on number of pitches and projects for PC, web, mobile and VR platforms - and become conversant with both Unity3D and Unreal4 tech.
With educational background in Film, Psychology and Engineering - and the hard-won lessons of directing an indie project - I bring a measure of rounded experience to the table and have no difficulty speaking my mind when asked. My time in the militia has also left me with a strong sense for order and authority - and, invariably, an equally strong sense humor.
In my off-time, I am an avid gamer and student of military history - from Marius' reform of the Legions, to Benedict Arnold's siege of Quebec, to the bloody repulsion of the Anzacs at Gallipoli. I particularly enjoy peeling back the layers of revisionist history.
As with all things, I have found - perspective is everything.
